Hampden Estate HCF 12 Year Old Rare Cask Series #80 is a molasses single cask rum. This is the third release from the series focused on high-ester rums distilled in 2010 at the Hampden distillery in Jamaica. This rum aged for 12 years in bourbon barrels in a tropical climate. It carries the HLCF mark indicating a high level of esters, which for this rum is between 500-700 g/hlpa. The aromatic and flavor profile stands out with extraordinary strength, while also showcasing remarkable balance. It reveals empyreumatic, camphor, and spicy notes that are not only part of the purest Jamaican tradition but have also given this rum a magnificent character.
