Foursquare Redoutable is the latest collector's rum from Richard Seal and his Barbadian distillery, Foursquare Rum Distillery.
This single blended rum was created by combining distillation using the double-retort copper pot still method and the continuous twin column still method. Subsequently, Foursquare Redoutable aged for a long 14 years in a combination of bourbon and Madeira casks.
Its name "Redoutable" expresses something "formidable" and "worthy of respect".
No wonder. It is rum in its natural form. Without sweetening, flavoring, or added coloring. It is also unfiltered, which means it may show a slight haze as evidence.
