Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018
Choose the right glasses for prosecco or champagne and enjoy them as they should be.
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018 x Damien Hirst combines an exceptional vintage Champagne with contemporary art. Limited edition for 2026 was created in collaboration with British artist Damien Hirst, who transformed the historic label of Dom Pérignon through the visual language of his Kaleidoscope series. For the Vintage 2018, he chose rich blue tones that create a striking contrast with the black bottle and give the packaging a collectible character.
The 2018 vintage brought a favorable combination of ample water during the growing season and plenty of sunshine. The grapes ripened early, reaching a high level of maturity as early as August. The resulting Champagne combines the ripeness and depth of fruit with freshness, minerality, and a delicate salinity.
This is also the first vintage of Dom Pérignon created entirely under the guidance of Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon. It is characterized by a balance between the generous ripeness of the vintage and the precise, taut structure typical of Dom Pérignon.
The aroma unfolds with white fruits and citrus, complemented by floral, mineral, and subtly toasty notes. On the palate, the Champagne is pure, energetic, and elegant. Ripe fruit is accompanied by lively freshness, fine bubbles, and a mineral-salty character that continues into a long finish.
The combination of the 2018 vintage and Damien Hirst's original design makes this edition not only a prestigious Champagne but also a collectible item at the intersection of winemaking, design, and contemporary art.
Recommended Serving
Serve chilled at approximately 8 – 10 °C. Instead of a narrow flute, a wider tulip glass or a quality white wine glass is suitable, allowing the complex aroma to develop better.
It pairs well with seafood, oysters, lobster, sushi, or lighter dishes that highlight its minerality and freshness.
