Di Camillo Rocca Antica Negroamaro Salento
Di Camillo Rocca Antica Negroamaro Salento is a distinctive Italian red wine originating from the southern region of Puglia, specifically from the sunny Salento peninsula, which is the birthplace of the Negroamaro variety.
Di Camillo winery, operating since 1890, combines traditional approaches with modern winemaking craftsmanship to create wines that emphasize the purity of the variety and the authentic character of southern Italy.
Negroamaro is characterized by its dark fruit, subtly spicy notes, and pleasant bitter undertone, which is reflected in its name (“negro” – black, “amaro” – slightly bitter). The grapes ripen under the intense Salento sun, giving them fullness, sweet tannins, and a rounded texture.
Wine Rocca Antica is vinified to preserve the fruitiness, juiciness, and warm Mediterranean character typical of Salento. The result is a harmonious, soft, and very drinkable red wine suitable for everyday enjoyment as well as pairing with Italian cuisine.
