Description
Taste the Italian red wine Di Camillo Lu Funare Rosso made from three different grape varieties - 50 % Merlot, 30 % Pinot Nero and 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes used for this wine were grown in the Terre di Chieti Rosso I.G.P. region of Abruzzo, Italy. After mechanical and hand harvesting, the grapes were gently pressed and passed through a maceration and fermentation process for a further 20 days.
It is a ruby red wine with a garnet hue, a rich spectrum of aromas in which you can smell fruit jam, cherries, spicy liquorice, vanilla and dried flowers. On the palate you can sense a full body with just the right amount of tannins and a nice finish with sweet honey notes.
