Di Camillo Borgomarino Rosso
Di Camillo Borgomarino Rosso is a distinctive red wine from the Italian Abruzzo, blending Merlot and Sangiovese. Merlot brings a softer fruity character and fullness, while Sangiovese adds the wine's typical cherry aroma, structure, and Italian freshness.
Like the other wines in the Borgomarino line, Rosso draws inspiration from the fishing district of Borgomarino in Pescara, where the story of the Di Camillo family intertwines with the atmosphere of the coast and the tradition of Abruzzo. The wine is vinified using traditional methods to maintain a fuller, robust, and straightforward red character.
The aroma is dominated by cherry and sour cherry, complemented by darker fruit notes. The taste is structured, robust, and full, making it suitable for more flavorful dishes – especially pasta with tomato or meat sauce, grilled meats, cold cuts, and medium-aged cheeses.
