Description
The name Pale & Dry relates to its light color and the word dry refers to the sweet character of the cognac. Delamain Pale & Dry Tres Belle Grande Champagne Cognac was launched in 1920 and represents 80% of the company's production. The blend consists of selected eaux-de-vie from growers and producers in the Grande Champagne region. The Pale & Dry blend consists of reduced cognac with an alcohol content of 15%, i.e., "weak" or "vieilles faibles" cognac, which is mixed with a stronger 53% cognac. This blend is then further aged in Limousin oak barrels to achieve the final balance.
