Description
The name Pale & Dry is related to its light color and the word dry refers to the sweet character of cognac. Delamain Pale & Dry Tres Belle Grande Champagne Cognac was launched in 1920 and represents 80% of the company's production. The mixture consists of selected eaux-de-vie from growers and producers from the Grande Champagne region. The Pale & Dry blend consists of reduced cognac with an alcohol content of 15%, ie "weak" or "vieilles faibles" cognac, which is mixed with stronger 53% cognac. This mixture is then further matured in Limousin oak barrels to achieve a final balance.
