Deadhead Rum is a 6-year-old Mexican rum with a somewhat morbid bottle shaped like a shrunken head, known as Tsantsa, a trophy hidden from a defeated enemy. The rum is a blend of premium sugarcane juice and molasses.
It is double distilled and aged for 6 years in European oak and ex-sherry casks. It is then blended to achieve the desired rich, spicy flavor profile. It comes from the Mexican city of Veracruz.
We recommend serving it at room temperature with a cube of ice. The rum is presented in a unique bottle, sealed with a cork stopper.
