Description
Deadhead Chocolate is a smooth and decadent rum liqueur with a bitter chocolate flavor, presented in a monkey head-shaped bottle. It features notes of coffee, cocoa, and butter, pleasantly intertwined with rich chocolate and cherry.
This 5-year-old rum was produced in a family distillery in Chiapas. Its production was inspired by ancient recipes intended for making alcohol for Mayan and Aztec rulers.
The rum ages for 5 years in American oak barrels, which are then infused with organic cocoa. The aroma is dominated by essences of coffee, caramel, and subtle notes of dark chocolate, which is fully present in the taste.
