Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition 2022 is a collection of masterful craft. Each cask in this series is individually selected and perfectly matched to the character of each of the refined single malts.

The two-part maturation process adds greater depth and complexity, which is the idea behind the limited edition Distillers Edition of preserving the excellence of single malts that have already been praised for their exceptional flavours. Selected flavour nuances are more strongly accentuated in a way not found in regular bottlings.

The name Dalwhinnie translates from Gaelic as "plain of meetings". The distillery, which has survived periods of closure, has been producing its distinctive single malt since 1947 and was only completely modernised in 1996. Dalwhinnie has the coldest average annual temperature of any inhabited town in Scotland.

Since 1997, the Distillers Edition has seen the annual release of limited quantities, each of which is very true to its origins, yet has a rich depth, complexity and nuance of flavour not found in the regular edition.

This superb Dalwhinnie whisky was first matured in American and European oak casks. The second maturation was completed in American oak casks with Oloroso blended in, re-charred, and with heavily charred new oak ends.

The bottles are bottled at 43 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity and are supplied in gift boxes.
