Clairin Sonson is Agricole Rhum, which is one of the news from Haiti. They are made by Stephan Kalil Saoud from sugar cane juice of the Madame Meuze variety, which covers 60 acres of land and is unhybridized. This gives the distillate herbal and slightly mineral tones.
Along with the cane, bananas and other fruit trees are also grown there, the view of the diverse fields only highlights the color of the whole landscape. Fermentation takes place completely spontaneously and open fire is used in kettle distillation. Rum smells of freshly cut grass with a little basil and citrus. Likewise, the taste is very delicate, with the tone of lemon grass, and sweet with sugar cane syrup.
