Choya Sake is a traditional Japanese wine made from local rice sourced from the Nara prefecture, koji yeast, and mineral water. This combination creates an excellent beverage that surprises with its aroma and especially its taste.
Choya Sake is made from premium Japanese rice and quality water, fermented using a traditional method with Aspergillus oryzae (koji) and special yeasts. The process takes place under strictly controlled conditions that preserve the purity and delicacy of the final distillate.
The taste features a subtly dry profile with a smooth texture and light fruity notes. The aroma is subtle, suitable for consumers who prefer less pronounced beverages while still appreciating a sophisticated experience.
The rice undergoes a very slow fermentation at low temperatures, which gives the sake its rich aroma. We recommend serving it slightly chilled or very warm at a temperature of 7 to 50 °C.
It pairs perfectly with traditional Japanese cuisine such as sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, sukiyaki, and teriyaki.
