Chateau Modra Devín 2024
Chateau Modra Devín 2024 is an aromatic dry white wine from the South Slovak wine region, produced from grapes classified as quality wine with the designation Wine from Grapes (VzH). The Devín grape variety, bred in Slovakia, combines the aromatic character of Traminer with the elegance of Grüner Veltliner, offering a clean, modern, and very pleasant expression in this vintage.
The aroma is dominated by pronounced floral notes, linden blossom, citrus fruits, and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, the wine is off-dry to drier in style, harmonious and smooth, with fresh fruit character, a touch of residual sweetness, and a gentle spicy line typical of the variety. The finish is medium-long, clean, and elegantly aromatic.
The wine is ideal as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with Asian cuisine, lightly spiced dishes, poultry, fish, or soft cheeses. It will especially appeal to lovers of aromatic white wines with a distinctive Slovak character.
