Description
Inaugural Vintage 2005 release from Chairman's Reserve. A blend of two distillates from St. Lucia Distillers, one produced in a copper John Dare pot still and the other in a Coffey column still. Aged separately for 4 years, then blended by the Cellar Master - Evanius Harris, and aged in cask for another 10 years.
Aroma: pleasantly balanced, oaky, complex with notes of honey, orange, raisins, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, and a hint of green apple
Taste: gentle initial sweetness that quickly dissipates, followed by oak raisins, vanilla, and caramel
Finish: slightly tannic with a pleasant spicy finish
