Description
Inaugural Vintage 2005 edition from Chairman's Reserve. A mixture of two distillates from St. Lucia Distillers, one made in a John Dare copper cauldron and the other in a column Coffey cauldron. They matured for 4 years separately, then were mixed by Cellar Master - Evanius Harris, and matured in the barrel for another 10 years.
Aroma: pleasantly balanced, oak, complex with tones of honey, orange, raisins, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar and soft green apple
Taste: a delicate initial sweetness that dissipates quickly, followed by oak raisins, vanilla and caramel
Conclusion: slightly tan with a pleasant spicy surface
