Aviation Gin is a gin brand first produced in Portland, Oregon by founders Christian Krogstad and Ryan Magarian in 2006. It is referred to as “American Dry Gin”, meaning its flavor profile is less strongly flavored with juniper than other gins.
The gin is produced by House Spirits Distillery. It is made using seven aromatic ingredients: juniper, lavender, sweet and bitter orange peel, cardamom, coriander, Indian sarsaparilla, and anise seeds. Aviation American Gin is distilled twice and bottled at 42% alcohol content.
Ritero Xaperle Rum is a new release from the Slovak band Horkýže Slíže, launched on March 3, 2025. The band personally oversaw the entire process – from selecting Dominican rum, designing the label to the final bottling. It was produced by the distillery Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, which is one of the most eco-friendly distilleries in the world.
The name of the rum reflects their 2004 album, Ritero Xaperle Bax, which emphasizes the musical message of the entire edition. The blend is based on premium rums from the Dominican Republic made through column distillation, using sugarcane juice instead of molasses.
