Carúpano Reserva Privada 21 is a Venezuelan dark ultra-premium blended rum. It is made from a blend of rums that have aged for up to 21 years. It is then filled into white American oak barrels and aged for several months. It is bottled at 40% alcohol content. The bottle comes in a very nice gift packaging with a yellow and black design.
Destilería Carúpano is located in the unique microclimate of the Macarapana-Carúpano valley, where high humidity and temperatures accelerate and intensify the aging process. The rum has a dark amber color, a rich aroma of fruit and coconut, and a complex flavor with a long-lasting finish. The entire process is overseen by the renowned expert Carmen López de Bastidas, which is evidenced by the numerous awards won.
To enhance the flavor, we recommend serving it over ice with a slice of orange in a low glass.
