Carúpano – rum with a tradition since 1762

Carúpano is one of the oldest and most respected brands of Venezuelan rum. The distillery was founded in 1762 by Spanish captain Félix del Fierro in the fertile and humid Carúpano valley, where rum is still produced today with an unchanged recipe and respect for traditional methods.

Pure water and honest craftsmanship

Since 1896, the Carúpano distillery has been the historical custodian of the springs of the Chuare River, whose exceptionally pure and mineral-rich water forms the basis of every bottle. This natural source gives the rum its purity and balanced character, which is typical of Carúpano.

Aging and character

Carúpano rums age in American white oak barrels, which enrich their aroma with notes of vanilla, cocoa, and caramel. Thanks to the long aging process, they gain exceptional depth and complexity while maintaining the smoothness typical of the Venezuelan style.
