Carpathian KB
Carpathian Brandy is an iconic Slovak spirit with more than half a century of tradition, a symbol of quality and pride in domestic production. It comes from the wineries in Pezinok and has earned respect at home and abroad since the 1960s thanks to its consistent craftsmanship and unique taste.
Carpathian Brandy is produced by double distillation of high-quality wine in pot stills – the resulting clear wine is then transferred to 300-litre barrels made from selected oak wood for several years of ageing.
The barrels come from Slovakia, Slovenia and France, giving the drink its characteristic aroma and colour. The production process is followed with precision – the recipe and technology have remained unchanged for more than 50 years.
Maturation in oak barrels enriches the brandy with notes of vanilla, dried fruit, nuts and subtle woody tones. It has a rich golden-amber colour and a full, elegant taste that depends on the length of maturation – from subtle caramel to woody tones.
Carpathian Brandy dates back to 1968, when it was developed as a high-quality spirit for Hubert sparkling wine. The first barrels were filled in 1968, and a few years later it was decided to launch the brand separately – Special V.S.O.P. Since then, it has retained its authenticity – the tradition has been passed down through generations of craftsmen, including Master Blender Peter Ďuriš, and the production process has been established since the 1970s.
The bottles are carbonated with an alcohol content of 40 % and a volume of 0,7 l.
