Description
Carlos I. Imperial XO is an exceptional Spanish brandy from the Jerez region, representing the pinnacle of the Carlos I brand. This brandy is the result of over 230 years of tradition and expertise from the Osborne winery, founded in 1772.
It is made from selected wine distillates (holandas) from the Airén variety, which age for up to 20 years in American oak barrels, previously used for Oloroso and Amontillado sherry, using the traditional Solera system.
The result is a brandy with a rich and complex flavor profile. On the nose, it offers delicate and elegant aromas of nuts, tobacco, and hints of long aging in wood. On the palate, it is deep, enveloping, and very balanced, with a silky texture and a sophisticated, very elegant finish.
