Description
Carlos I. Imperial XO is an exceptional Spanish brandy from the Jerez region, representing the pinnacle of the Carlos I brand. This brandy is the result of more than 230 years of tradition and expertise of the Osborne winery, founded in 1772.
It is made from selected wine distillates (holandas) from the Airén variety, which are aged for up to 20 years in American oak barrels previously used for Oloroso and Amontillado sherry using the traditional Solera system.
The result is a brandy with a rich and complex flavour profile. The nose offers delicate and elegant aromas of walnuts, tobacco and hints of long ageing in wood. The palate is deep, enveloping and very balanced, with a silky texture and a sophisticated, very elegant finish.
