Carlos I. is an iconic brand of Spanish brandy, established in 1889 in Jerez de la Frontera. It was discovered almost by accident when cellar master Pedro Domecq found barrels of unique distillate in a forgotten corner of the cellar. In honor of the Spanish King Charles I, who brought grandeur and tradition to Europe, this brandy was named Carlos I.

It is produced using the Solera method, typical of the Jerez region, and ages in barrels that previously held sherry, which impart a smooth, harmonious, and complex profile. As Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva, it belongs to the highest categories of Spanish brandy. Today, the brand is part of the Osborne Group portfolio and symbolizes tradition, elegance, and craftsmanship from southern Spain.
