A small batch of Scottish gin from the Balmenach distillery in Speyside. Caorunn Gin is made from a blend of traditional and hand-picked botanicals such as rowan berries, heather, Coul Blush apples, and dandelion.
Caorunn {pronounced “ka-roon”} is inspired by the Gaelic word for “Rowan Berry.” Wondering what's in the name? The humble rowan berries are one of five unique Celtic botanicals that form the foundation of this gin.
For the hand-harvesting of rowan berries along with the other four Celtic botanicals, they utilize Scotland's natural larder; all found within a ten-minute walk from the distillery. They then combine them with six traditional gin botanicals to create a genius recipe.
This is the only gin in the world that is distilled in a working copper berry chamber. This unique process allows for maximum flavor extraction from the botanicals, setting it apart from the rest. It's not just genius; it's a genius gin.
Pair it with a slice of red apple and serve with chilled tonic and ice.
