The Legacy Casks edition is the first official series of single cask and small batch bottlings under the management of Elixir Distillers. The Tormore distillery, led by Polly Logan, has prepared limited editions of the 2003, 2009 and 2012 vintages. The 2012 vintage was selected for its youthful intensity and beautiful combination of fruity character and sweet oak. It is bottled at 60,6 % ABV, without filtration or colouring, to preserve maximum authenticity.
On the nose, the whisky offers lemon barley malt, coconut biscuits, thyme and sweet toasted oak. The palate reveals a lively mix of grilled lemons, poached pears, butter pastries and vanilla-caramel fudge. The finish is long-lasting, with hints of charred oak and citrus.
It is best enjoyed neat at room temperature to bring out its intense fruitiness and spiciness. Due to its high alcohol content (60,6 %), it is recommended to add a few drops of water to reveal the more delicate layers of sweetness and herbs. Thanks to its character, this whisky is also attractive to collectors, as it is the first Legacy cask series in Tormore's history.
The bottles have a volume of 0,7 l.

The Tormore Legacy edition was created as the first official series of single cask and small batch bottlings under the management of Elixir Distillers. Distillery manager Polly Logan selected several rare casks from different vintages that perfectly capture the character of Tormore. The 2009 vintage is a combination of six first-fill bourbon casks in which the whisky matured for 14 years and was bottled in 2025 directly from the cask, without filtration or colouring.
The whisky offers aromas of freshly baked biscuits, ripe peaches, citrus fruits and meadow grass. On the palate, it unfolds a lively and fresh combination of lemon cake, black pepper, spicy spices and vanilla cream. The finish is elegant, with hints of sweet oak and citrus freshness that beautifully complement the fruity-spicy profile.
Due to its cask strength (56 %), it is best served neat at room temperature, but for a fuller experience, we recommend adding a few drops of water to reveal further layers of fruit and subtle sweet notes. This whisky is suitable for slow sipping, but also for collectors, as it is the first official single cask series in Tormore's history.
The bottles have a volume of 0,7 l.
