Monkey Shoulder is a Scotch whiskey that is made to make the perfect whiskey cocktails. This is a unique blended whiskey blended from a variety of Speyside whiskey. She matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 6 to 12 years.
The name whiskey is associated with the work deformation (Monkey Shoulder) that suffered in the past as malthouse workers. Spearhead is a single grain Scotch quality whiskey produced in the Loch Lomond distillery. It is made from 100 % malted barley, which ferments for up to 92 hours. It undergoes continuous distillation in Coffey Still copper. It then matures in ex-bourbon barrels, which add whiskey sweetness and lightness.
