Boulard VSOP is a quality French calvados from the prestigious Pays d’Auge region, which belongs to the protected appellation Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC).
This traditional apple distillate is made from musts sourced from this area, known for its ideal conditions for growing apples intended for calvados production.
Boulard VSOP is the result of a carefully selected blend of calvados that ages 4 to 10 years in oak barrels. During aging, the individual components gradually harmonize, resulting in a balanced distillate with a fine structure and rich aromatic profile.
A longer time spent in barrels allows for the development of fruity notes, complemented by subtle woody and spicy nuances. The result is an elegant and pleasantly rounded calvados suitable for everyday enjoyment as well as special occasions.
