Bottega Gold Prosecco Brut is an iconic sparkling wine from the Veneto region of Italy, known not only for its exceptional taste but also for its luxurious gold bottle design.
This prosecco is made from the Glera grape variety, which is carefully cultivated on the hills of Treviso. Thanks to traditional vinification and secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks (Charmat method), this wine achieves perfect harmony between freshness and smoothness.
The Charmat method is the process of refining wine into sparkling wine, which takes place in large fermentation tanks, where the sparkling wine remains to age for at least six months after the secondary fermentation is completed. Finally, the yeast is filtered out and a liqueur d'expédition is added (which may be enriched with various ingredients).
Prosecco has a pale yellow color with characteristic fruity and floral aromas of green apple, Williams pear, fresh grapes, acacia flowers, and lily. A pleasant, fresh, fruity, and rounded taste with notes of fresh grapes. A delicious and rich wine with plenty of freshness.
It is recommended to serve chilled at a temperature of 4 - 6 °C. Great as an aperitif, but also pairs excellently with appetizers, fish dishes, seafood, and light desserts.
