Description
A very high quality Guatemalan dark rum Botran 18 Reserva de la Familia, aged up to 18 years in the Solera system in American oak, ex-sherry and ex-port casks. The casks have given it a subtly sweet taste with notes of vanilla, fruit, caramel and chocolate.
It is distilled from virgin sugar cane honey and has subtly spicy fruity-chocolate notes. We recommend enjoying it with a cigar, which has a subtly sweet flavour profile.
The colour of the rum is amber with golden highlights. The aroma is subtly spicy, caramel-like with fruit and hints of cinnamon, baking spices and oak.
The palate is intensely bittersweet, with vanilla, chocolate, caramel, fruit and nuts.
