Very high-quality Guatemalan dark rum Botran 18 Reserva de la Familia, aged for up to 18 years using the Solera system in American oak, ex-sherry and ex-port barrels. The barrels impart a subtly sweet flavor with notes of vanilla, fruit, caramel, and chocolate.
It is distilled from virgin honey from sugar cane and has gently spicy fruit-chocolate notes. We recommend enjoying it alongside a cigar that has a subtly sweet flavor profile.
The color of the rum is amber with golden reflections. The aroma is gently spicy, with caramel and fruit notes and hints of cinnamon, pastry, and oak.
The taste is intensely bitter-sweet, with flavors of vanilla, chocolate, caramel, fruit, and nuts.
