BenRiach The Thirty 30 Year Old

This excellent single malt whisky BenRiach The Thirty 30 Year Old was made from peated spirit and matured in 4 casks for at least 30 years in sherry, bourbon, virgin oak, and port casks from the Douro Valley.

During the long maturation, the sweet smoke from BenRiach Speyside mellows and combines with fruit, malt, and oak. After thirty years, the rich layering develops into an exquisite honeyed smoke, further enhanced by the multi-layered aging in casks.

The whisky from each type of cask, which is infused with specific flavor characteristics, is then expertly blended to create a beautifully harmonious single malt whisky with layers of dark fruit, rich walnuts, and velvety oak spice with a long, complex honeyed-smoky finish. All in perfect balance.

The whisky is a Double Gold Medal winner in 2021 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The renowned distillery from Speyside, founded back in 1897 by John Duff & Co, was quickly closed and changed ownership several times during its existence. In 2020, the entire core range of the distillery was replaced with seven new exciting expressions. The owners of BenRiach Distillery Company also proudly restored the malting floors for occasional use.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 46% with a volume of 0.7 l. They are delivered in a gift tube.
