BenRiach The Smoky Ten 10 Year Old
Add a tasting glass and elevate your experience to the next level!
BenRiach 10 Year Old The Smoky Ten is created by combining peated and unpeated distillate, which matures for at least 10 years in a mix of ex-bourbon casks, Jamaican rum casks, and virgin oak casks.
The whisky thus creates exquisitely smooth layers of sunny fruit, aromatic smoke, and toasted oak spice, which linger in a perfectly balanced sweet and smoky finish.
Master Blender Rachel Barrie and her team crafted this expression with a delicious flavor profile of ripe fruit and creamy spices that support the peaty essence at its core.
Distillery founder John Duff traveled to Kentucky and South Africa to pursue his whisky adventure. In 1898, he returned to Scotland and established the BenRiach distillery. The distillery boldly approaches the art of distillation and maturation in casks with its adventurous spirit.
Like progressive Speyside distilleries, BenRiach produces unpeated, peated, or even triple-distilled malt whiskies and also owns some of the most experimental casks in Speyside. It is one of two distilleries in Speyside that uses malted barley prepared in its own malting floor.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 46% with a volume of 0.7 l. They are delivered in a gift tube.
