To produce BenRiach Quarter Cask, the BenRiach spirit is first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then undergoes a second maturation in specially adapted casks.
These smaller casks allow for greater interaction between the wood and the spirit, intensifying the maturation for depth and richness of flavour and creating layers of glazed orchard fruit and rich vanilla, finishing with notes of ripe barley and oak spice. All in perfect balance.
The Speyside region is typical of its sweetish fruit flavours, the Quarter Cask is enriched with spicy contrasting notes of oak. In the depth of flavour you will taste ripe pear, toasted apricot and citrus.
Bottled at 46 % ABV with a volume of 1 l. They are supplied in gift boxes.
