Appleton Estate Rare Casks 12 Year Old in Carton

The Appleton Estate Rare Blend rum comes from Jamaica. It is distilled in traditional copper pot stills. Appleton Estate Rare Blend is a delicious blend of rums, many of which have been aged for at least 12 years in oak casks.

The colour of the rum is medium copper. Appleton has a very interesting aroma of raw sugar cane combined with chocolate covered cherries. The palate is complemented by notes of roasted chestnut and chamomile with a slightly tannic, crisp, dry and medium-bodied finish. Accents of ripe banana, caramel sauce, peanut, black tea and menthol are clearly noticeable.

Appleton Estate Rare Blend is simply a sophisticated, aged rum with plenty of mature character. It was bottled at 43 % ABV and the volume is 0,7 l.

We recommend serving it on its own at room temperature or with an ice cube.
