Aberlour is a respected Scottish distillery from the Speyside region. The origin of the Aberlour brand

The distillery was founded in 1826 by Peter Weir and James Gordon, with Weir leaving the project shortly afterwards and subsequent development shaped by his successors. Its location near the River Spey, just a few hundred metres from the distillery, has played a crucial role in the quality of production from the very beginning. Aberlour gradually established itself as a distillery focused on craftsmanship, balanced character and consistent quality.
