Aberlour 10 Year Old Forest Reserve comes from the renowned Aberlour distillery in the Scottish region of Speyside. The distillery was founded in 1879 and has long relied on a combination of different types of oak casks for its single malt whiskies.

This 10-year-old edition utilizes Aberlour's characteristic combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The whisky undergoes double maturation in these casks, with a portion of the resulting Single Malt then maturing in French oak barrels.

Bourbon casks bring delicate notes of vanilla and sweet oak, while sherry casks enhance the fruity and spicy character. The final influence of French oak adds another layer of spice and helps create a balanced whisky profile.

Forest Reserve is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume. It is characterized as an approachable Speyside whisky with a sweeter fruity base, gentle spice, and a long warming finish.
