It is bottled at a higher alcohol content than the same age variant and ages 12 years in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks.

Aberlour bottles this single malt whisky without chill filtration. This means that the whisky is filtered at normal ambient temperature through a metal sieve, capturing only the residues from the wooden cask; aromatic substances such as fats and oils remain in the whisky, enhancing its aroma and flavor.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 48% with a volume of 0.7 l. They are delivered in gift tubes.
