Description
This is the release of the very popular Reserve Limitada rum from Ron Zacapa from 2015, which was mixed by Lorena Vasquez from rums aged for 6 to 24 years. The barrels used for its production were previously whiskey and Pedro Ximénez, who also matured for 2 years in re-tanned barrels.
Aroma: There is a lot of fruit - for example mango, pineapple, strawberry, apricot. Over time, signs of smoke burning the barrels will develop.
Taste: Caramel in the foreground, immediately followed by citrus and exotic fruits. A touch of herbal spice and another slight puff of smoke.
Conclusion: Banana and almonds with a dusting of spices for baking.
Overall impression: Complex and tasty material.
