Veuve Clicquot Rose ECOYL
In 1818 Madame Clicquot invented the first known blended champagne Rosé, now known as Veuve Clicquot Rose ECOYL, allowing us to enjoy its vibrant and fruity notes.
This cuvée is made using 30 to 45% Reserve wines, with the base being the traditional Yellow Label blend: a predominance of Pinot Noir (50 - 55%) provides the structure typical of Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28 - 33%) adds the elegance and finesse essential for a perfectly balanced wine, complemented by a blend of Meunier (15 - 20%).
The blend is then enriched with 12% still red wine from red grapes, which adds fruitiness. Long aging in the Crayères Veuve Clicquot (at least 3 years for Rosé) gives the champagne its silkiness.
After a fresh attack of aromas, a fruity harmonious sensation follows on the palate. The wine is perfectly balanced in the best style of rosé champagnes from Veuve Clicquot, combining elegance and taste. This deliciously full champagne can be enjoyed as a true delicacy.
Full and fruity, with an intense flavor of juicy ripe strawberries and cherries, the rosé Veuve Clicquot is an explosion of red fruit and an expression of the brilliant and bold spirit of Madame Clicquot.
The bottle comes in a stylish gift box.
