Description
This cuvée, a prestigious bottling from the Veuve Clicquot brand, is made from the finest crus with a balance of 64% Pinot Noir grapes from the Grands Crus in Ay in the Grande Vallée de la Marne and in Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, and Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims. The remaining 36% is made from Chardonnay grapes from three Grands Crus: Avize, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Cote des Blancs.
Aroma: Full and nutty aroma with great power and energetic lemon acidity.
Taste: Has a pleasant taste - lots of nuts and fresh cream with a hint of orange peel. Very firm.
Finish: Incredible length that never ends..
Overall impression: Very suitable for another five to ten years of aging in the bottle. Lots of potential for an even better drink.
