Ukiyo Japanese Yuzu Gin
The exceptional Ukiyo Japanese Yuzu Gin was born in Kagoshima, in the shadow of the Sakurajima volcano in Japan. It is based on traditional Japanese shochu spirit. Redistilling high quality shōchū produces a smoother gin that has a wonderfully light mouthfeel.
Redistilled with juniper berries, yuzu, regional citrus and botanicals, the 1 500-year-old tradition of growing and harvesting yuzu in Japan is respected. This combination produces a citrus gin with a delicate aroma.
The taste of yuzu is tart and fragrant, reminiscent of lemon and grapefruit with undertones of tangerine and orange. The bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol and the bottle volume is 0,7 l.
We recommend serving the gin with an ice cube on its own or in a variety of mixed drinks.
