Classic Añejo Mexican tequila. It is made only from the tops of the blue weber agave plant. Most tequilas contain only 20% tops and 80% of the whole plant. Agave is harvested in the Altos de Jalisco region, which is the best for this plant. The soil is well-drained with a high iron content. Agave is harvested from 6 to 10-year-old plants. Finally, it ages for several months in American white oak barrels.
Harvesting, baking in stone ovens, juice extraction, fermentation with natural yeasts, distillation, and aging are strictly controlled and carried out in a traditional manner.
Aroma: roasted oak, wood, fruit, cake
Taste: strong, woody, agave, slightly spicy, earthy, fresh wood
