Rums under the Transcontinental Rum Line brand are characterized by two-phase aging, which mimics historical voyages and the import of rum from the New World to the Old Continent. This great Jamaican rum aged for 4 years in a tropical climate with a high angel's share, and the final, fifth year of aging was spent in the continental climate of Europe. The rum was bottled at navy strength with an alcohol content of 57.18%.
The Transcontinental Rum Line WP Jamaica 2012 was produced in a limited quantity of 6575 bottles.
