Transcontinental Rum Line (TCRL) is a young rum brand created by specialists from La Maison du Whiskey. Behind the uniqueness of each Transcontinental Rum Line is two stages of maturation that take place in two different climatic zones. This mimics the history and times of colonialism, when rum was transported by long sea voyages from the colonies of the New World to the old European continent. At that time, these long voyages across the seas and oceans had their maritime, economic and technical reasons:

1. Maritime - the addition of rum to the long-carried clean water created a safe drink for a long sea voyage.
2. Economic - after transport to Europe, the share of "angel tax" was lower and rum matured smoother.
3. Technical - the difference in content, which was previously stored in barrels, allowed to enrich the taste palette of rum with tones obtained from whiskey, wine, cognac and other alcohol.
