Transcontinental Rum Line (TCRL) is a young rum brand created by specialists from La Maison du Whisky. The uniqueness of each rum Transcontinental Rum Line comes from two aging phases that take place in two different climatic zones. This mimics the history and times of colonialism when rum was transported from the colonies in the New World to the old European continent via long sea voyages. At that time, these long journeys across seas and oceans had their maritime, economic, and technical reasons:

1. Maritime - adding rum to the long-transported pure water created a safe drink for long sea voyages.
2. Economic - after transport to Europe, the share of "angel's share" was lower, and the rum aged smoother.
3. Technical - the difference in contents previously stored in barrels allowed for enriching the flavor profile of the rum with tones acquired from whisky, wine, cognac, and other spirits.
