Transcontinental Rum Line Venezuela 2006 is a 12-year-old molasses rum distilled by the column still method and produced only in small quantities.
Rums under the Transcontinental Rum Line brand are characterized by a two-phase maturation that mimics historic cruises and the import of rum from the New World to the Old Continent. Rum TCRL Venezuela 2006 therefore matured in the tropics for 11 years and then crossed the ocean to complete maturation in the last 1.5 years on the European continent. The result is an interesting rum with intense tones of exotic wood and spices and bottled with a high alcohol content of 60.9% .
