Transcontinental Rum Line Venezuela 2006
Transcontinental Rum Line Venezuela 2006 is a molasses 12-year-old rum distilled using the column still method and produced only in small quantities.
Rums under the Transcontinental Rum Line brand are characterized by a two-phase aging process that mimics historical voyages and the import of rum from the New World to the Old Continent. The TCRL Venezuela 2006 rum therefore aged for 11 years in the tropical zone and then crossed the ocean to complete its aging with the final 1.5 years on the European continent. The result is an intriguing rum with intense notes of exotic wood and spices, bottled at a high 60.9% alcohol content.
Aroma and taste: molasses, spices, exotic wood
