Transcontinental Rum Line Trinidad 2006
TCRL Trinidad 2006 is an impressive molasses rum produced in small quantities every 6 months. It originally comes from Trinidad and Tobago and was distilled in 2006 using the column still method. It then underwent a two-phase aging process in bourbon casks, which is typical for Transcontinental Rum Line rums and mimics the historical voyages and transportation of rum from the New World to the Old Continent. In the first phase, the rum aged for 7 years in tropical climatic conditions and was then transported to Europe, where it matured for over 5 years under continental climate in the second phase.
Limited edition produced in a quantity of 1344 bottles.
Aroma and taste: delicate, mineral with notes of chocolate and sweet licorice
