To create a bespoke blend for The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition II whisky, award-winning British designer Richard Quinn visited the historic Strathisla distillery to lead a collaborative blending session with master blender Sandy Hyslop.

The finest Scotch whiskies from the Braeval, Strathisla and Caperdonich distilleries were hand-selected and blended to reflect Richard's personal palate, resulting in a balanced and rich whisky with remarkable depth of flavour.

By carefully sampling and selecting an assortment of the finest 21-year-old whiskies, the pair have created a perfect balance of flavours that represent the depth and maturity of an ongoing collaboration.

The whisky showcases his love of traditional floral patterns mixed with a touch of bold modernism. In the fragrance, we smell vibrant touches of exotic fruits with notes of mango and banana, complemented by round and creamy vanilla fondant and cinnamon and a subtle hint of roasted chestnuts.

The palate is rich and fruity with accents of sweet strawberry jam, pear and peach, a touch of honey blossom is delicately balanced by oak spice and a whiff of sweet smoke.
