Born from a unique heritage, Royal Salute's enduring affinity with the Polo is the inspiration behind this modern collection of limited edition whiskies. The Rio de Janeiro Polo Edition, the seventh whisky in the range, captures the vibrant soul of Rio de Janeiro, the undisputed polo capital of Brazil. Here, amidst the fields of Helvetia and the energy of Rio's streets, the sport thrives with an unprecedented passion that reflects the exciting blend of skill, honour and grace shared by both polo and the exceptional Royal Salute whisky.

As a tribute to this emblematic place, Sandy Hyslop, Royal Salute's Master Blender, has expertly crafted a bespoke 21-year-old blended malt whisky with a rich, fruity flavour that reflects Rio's famously dynamic culture.

Part of this complex blend features rare whisky from the Braeval distillery that has been matured in first-fill casks, offering fresh floral and grassy notes reminiscent of Rio's lush green landscape. Working harmoniously with other malt whiskies matured in American oak casks, which bring sweet and creamy vanilla and coconut notes, the resulting blend is deliciously smooth.

The bottles are bottled at 40 % ABV at 0,7 l and come in stylish designer gift cartons.
