Description
The GlenAllachie Ruby Port Wood Finish is a 12-year-old Scotch Single Malt whisky, originating from the 3rd series of the Wood Finish Range. It was personally overseen by Master Distiller Billy Walker. It is produced in the Speyside region.
Ruby Port first matures for 10 years in American oak casks. It is then filled into Ruby Port casks for 2 years. This process imparts a deep and excellent flavor along with a rich color.
Regular monitoring by Billy Walker ensures the perfect balance between the port and the malt. The whisky is then bottled at an alcohol content of 48%. No added coloring and no chill filtration. This is a limited edition with a limited number of bottles!
