The second edition of Teeling Brabazon whisky demonstrates the enormous impact that maturation in casks has on the overall aroma and flavor of the whisky. Brabazon is created by blending several whiskies that age in port casks, resulting in the reddish expression of Teeling Brabazon at the forefront.
Aroma: ripe blueberries, currants, sponge cake with plenty of cream and jam, cinnamon, honey.
Taste: raspberries, dried oak spice, stewed apples and peaches.
Finish: fizzy strawberry candies, dark chocolate, and brown sugar mash.
