The second edition of Teeling Brabazon whiskey proves the huge effect that aging in barrels has on the overall aroma and taste of whiskey. Brabazon is created by mixing several whiskeys, which are matured in port barrels, which results in a reddish expression of Teeling Brabazon in the foreground.
Aroma : ripe blueberries, currants, sponge cake with lots of cream and jam, cinnamon, honey.
Taste : raspberries, dried oak spices, stewed apples and peaches.
Conclusion: sparkling strawberry candies, hot chocolate and brown sugar porridge.
