Ryoma Japanese Rum is a young Japanese agricole rum from the island of Shikoku, traditionally produced from freshly pressed sugarcane juice. Unlike the older and well-known 7-year-old edition, this version is aged for 12 to 18 months.
This shorter maturation focuses on freshness, lightness, and the authentic cane character typical of the agricole style. The brief time spent in oak barrels adds only a subtle touch of wood while preserving its naturally fresh and clean profile.
Because this rum undergoes only short aging, it is less woody and less sweet than older expressions. It maintains a light, fresh, and cane-pure character, making it suitable not only for sipping but also as a premium base for cocktails such as Daiquiri or Ti’ Punch, where its authentic aromatics truly shine.
