Ryoma Japanese Rum is a young Japanese agricole rum from Shikoku Island, made in the traditional style from freshly pressed sugarcane juice. Unlike the older and well-known 7-year edition, this is a version aged 12 to 18 months.
This shorter-aged rum focuses on freshness, lightness, and the authentic sugarcane character typical of the agricole style. The short aging in oak barrels gives it only a subtle touch of wood while preserving its naturally fresh and clean profile.
Since this rum undergoes only a short aging process, it is less woody and less sweet than older rum versions. It retains its naturally light, fresh, and sugarcane clean character, making it suitable not only for sipping but also as a premium base for cocktails like Daiquiri or Ti’ Punch, where its authentic aroma shines.
