Renault XO Carte Noire

The iconic French cognac Renault XO Carte Noire is crafted according to an original recipe dating back to 1876. The story of the Renault brand goes back to 1835, when Jean Antonin Renault, a 25-year-old merchant from Charentais, established the brand in the French town of Cognac. He was the first to bottle cognac in glass bottles!

Renault XO Carte Noire is made from eaux-de-vie sourced from the regions of Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Fins Bois. They are carefully blended to impart their best qualities into the cognac. For example, the eaux-de-vie from Fine Champagne provides smoothness, while the eaux-de-vie from Fins Bois brings fruitiness, floral notes, and a hint of spice.

We recommend enjoying this cognac neat and at room temperature. To soften the taste, add one to two ice cubes. Conclude the tasting with a fine cigar of your choice.
