Plantation Xaymaca
Plantation Xaymaca is a typical Jamaican rum made from sugar cane, which embodies the uniqueness of Jamaican culture. It is produced by distilling in copper pot stills. The rum has a pleasant mahogany color.
Rum Xaymaca Special Dry revives the legendary “rum funk” of traditional Jamaican rums from the 1800s, which are made in pot stills. This blend of very special rums from the Long Pond and Clarendon distilleries reveals a strength that you won't find anywhere else today, with intense notes of banana and flambéed pineapple.
Subsequently, the rum matures in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon barrels, which adds depth and complexity. After aging in Jamaica, it is transferred to France, where it matures in ex-cognac Ferrand barrels, gaining its unique smoothness and richness.
The aroma is complex, slightly smoky, with fruity and herbal notes. It is also sweet with vanilla, ripe cooked bananas, and pineapple. The sweetness is subtly balanced by bitter orange peels.
Enjoy it neat or in a cocktail. Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43% with a volume of 0.7 l.
