Plantation Single Cask Guyana 2011
Plantation Single Cask Guyana 2011 belongs to a special limited edition that was released for Slovakia. The bottle bears the national emblem of Slovakia and the inscription Special Edition Slovakia 2023. The rum was distilled in 2011 using the Pot Still method.
The rum has been aged several times, which is characteristic of the limited edition Single Cask. The vintage rums were first aged for 2 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of the country of origin - Barbados, then aged for 9 years in ex-cognac Ferrand barrels made of French oak. Finally, the rum was matured for 1 year in Big Peat single malt Scotch whisky casks.
The triple maturation adds an extra layer of flavours and aromas to the rums, signing for an impressive complexity. The production of this rum was handled by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel, who always carefully selects the best casks for maturation. The whisky casks were acquired by Big Peat after a cask swap.
The bottles have been foamed at 48,8 % alcohol, the volume is 0,7 l and the bottles come in beautiful gift boxes.
