Plantation Single Cask Guyana 2011
Plantation Single Cask Guyana 2011 is part of a special limited edition released for Slovakia. The bottle features the national emblem of Slovakia and the inscription Special Edition Slovakia 2023. The rum was distilled in 2011 using the Pot Still method.
The rum aged multiple times, which is characteristic of the limited edition Single Cask. The vintage rum first matured for 2 years in ex-bourbon casks in the tropical climate of its country of origin - Barbados, and then aged 9 years in ex-cognac Ferrand casks made of French oak. Finally, the rum matured for 1 year in casks that previously held Big Peat single malt Scotch whisky.
Triple aging adds an extra layer of flavors and aromas to the rum, contributing to its impressive complexity. This rum was crafted by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel, who always carefully selects the best casks for aging. The casks from Big Peat whisky were acquired through a mutual cask exchange.
Bottles were filled with an alcohol content of 48.8%, the volume is 0.7 l and the bottles come in beautiful gift boxes.
